lyrical war on the horizon for sting!

Only days remain before the launch of the highly anticipated Sting show and already the lyrical shots have been sounding.Sting Face-Off Wednesdayz erupted in lyrical flames when Ryno, Deva Brat and Flexxx each took to the stage at Club Riddim, recently.The three belted hard-hitting lyrics leaving patrons begging for more. Ryno delivered scorching lyrics like Dollar Sign, Gaza Beating Stick and Bike Back, after which Deva Brat joined the battlefield and blazed lyrics like Bounty Shoe Lace, Loosing Battle, and Plantation Clip against his rival Lyara from the Alliance, deejaying: “Da bwoy yah a fight a losing battle, mi ave gun weh longer than Bounty mouth, inna mi bungle a gun him fi run come out”.

Flexxx continued blazing the heat with hardcore lyrics, Devil Reject, Kill Kill Kill and Murderer.

The lyrical batch of upcoming artistes who are vying for a chance to be on Sting 2011 also came lyrically armed and fired lyrical shots inside Club Riddim.

Johnny Dangerous definitely came prepared for the battlefield, dressed in a cream trench coat, black gloves and cream trouser cuffing one of the legs showing his designer Fubu high-top boot.

Dangerous fired several lyrics.

The crowd touted loudly, favouring the female clash which saw the likes of Tassy Wassy and the Money Wedda. Money Wedda started out powerfully but faltered as Tassy Wassy released heavy duty lyrics.

Emerging to the next round from last night’s clash are: Johnny Dangerous, Tassy Wassy, Askel 45, Maestro, Khyda, Hotbrain,Tallawa and Medallion.

This Wednesday promises to be fiery as Supreme Promotions launches the most anticipated stage show Sting ‘Rumours of War’, after which the launch after party and the weekly lyrical confrontation Sting Face-Off Wednesdayz continues at Club Riddim. All are invited.
