The always straightforward Dancehall star, Flippa Mafia talks from the heart once again as he delivers his newest release, Nuh Care.
The new single, produced byStashment Records on the newly-released, War Bashment Riddim, reinforces Flippa’s feelings about the rumors that Dancehall observers and fellow artistes have spread about the deejay in recent months. Additionally, the self-professed “Flossing King”shows once again that he’s not intimidated by Dancehall’s biggest names.
In the opening verse, Flippa deejays, “When dem hypocrite smile inna mi face, dem a chat inna, a my plaza dem still a shop inna, dem see di black pan black an’ a it dem wan fi have inna but no dem wan crash inna..wall.”
Flippa Mafia also addresses long-time rival and Alliance leader, Bounty Killer and seemingly takes a lyrical snipe at embattled Dancehall superstar,Vybz Kartel.
He says of Bounty, “True mi nuh dunce like Killa, mi nuh angry and cross too, mi hear dem a talk and just laugh too.”
As for the self-proclaimed, Worl’ Boss, Flippa says, “An’ u see deh next one deh, him face is a mask too, a tell mi a tell yuh, mi nah ask yuh.”
This single comes on the heels of another hard-hitting lyrical effort, Money Fight War that also took shots at Bounty Killer and Kartel while also addressing long-time rival, Elephant Man.
Meanwhile, Flippa has been busy in recent months trying to re-establish his presence within the Dancehall industry; unveiling singles such asFlossin’ on the XXX Riddim and Nah Wish Bad, produced by Juke Boxx Productions. He recently performed in his American home base, inPhiladelphia; teaming up with Khago on the Nah Sell Out Mi Fren Dem tour to end October.
